Who is the Arizer ArGo for?

The Arizer ArGo is the most pocketable portable from Arizer, the Canadian maker of the Solo and Air lines. Even in 2026 it remains the only Arizer with a glass mouthpiece that retracts completely into the body, and it is consistently rated among the best-tasting pocket vaporizers available. If you want the famous Arizer flavour in a vape you can genuinely forget is in your pocket, this is the model built for exactly that.

The ArGo is a personal, session-style vape: the chamber holds around 0.15 g and a full session takes 8 to 15 unhurried minutes. That pace is part of the design, and it buys thorough extraction and clean flavour from small loads. With a couple of pre-loaded glass pieces in a pocket, it covers a full day of travel, camping, or festivals.

Pocket-Sized with a Hidden Mouthpiece

The ArGo measures 2.5 × 5 × 9 cm, about the size of a deck of cards, and weighs around 125 g. The midsection is anodised aluminium with a soft silicone-coated base, so it feels solid in the hand without weighing down a pocket.

The clever part sits on top. A spring-loaded shield lets the glass mouthpiece retract completely into the body, so no fragile glass sticks out during carry. Press the button on the back and the shield drops down, exposing the mouthpiece for a session.

That glass piece is Arizer's signature design: a herb chamber at one end, a mouthpiece at the other, with a built-in glass screen between them. One piece of borosilicate glass handles both loading and drawing. A belt-clip carry case is included in the box for everyday protection.

Hybrid Heating, No Stirring Needed

The ArGo heats with a hybrid of conduction and convection, which works like cooking with a pan and an oven at once. A ceramic element warms a stainless steel oven around the chamber, while the air you pull through carries extra heat into the herbs.

Heat-up takes about a minute, depending on the temperature you set. The heating is even enough that no mid-session stirring is needed, and the ceramic element is dependable enough that Arizer backs it for life.

Flavour from an All-Glass Path

Flavour is the ArGo's standout quality. Herbs touch only borosilicate glass on the way to your lips; there is no plastic and no metal anywhere in the vapour path.

Lower temperatures preserve the lighter aromatic compounds, and the clean glass path lets you actually taste them. Even late in a session, the vapour stays smooth and clean.

Temperature Control Down to the Degree

The range runs from 50°C to 220°C, adjustable in single degrees with the plus and minus buttons. A bright OLED display shows the temperature, battery level, and settings, and everything is controlled entirely on the vape, with no app to install.

A good starting point is 180 to 190°C for flavour. Stepping up in 10°C jumps as the taste fades, then finishing at 220°C, extracts a chamber thoroughly. Few portables reach that high, which makes the ArGo efficient even with modest herbs.

The menu also holds a session timer that shuts the vape off after 5, 10, or 15 minutes, plus sound and brightness settings. The loud start-up beep can be switched off, a welcome option for quiet moments.

Loading and the Pre-Load Workflow

Loading is refreshingly direct because the herb chamber sits in the glass mouthpiece itself. Dip the chamber end into your ground herbs, give it a twist, and it scoops up a load of 0.10 to 0.15 g. Tamp lightly and leave a small air gap; the ArGo works best with a loose fill.

The built-in glass screen holds coarse or whole herbs on its own. Steel screens exist for extra-fine grinds, and four come in the box, but Arizer recommends the plain glass screen for the best flavour.

Because each glass mouthpiece doubles as a chamber, you can fill several at home, seal both ends with silicone caps, and carry them like pods. Two glass pieces and two caps are included, so this workflow works straight out of the box.

You can expand the setup with extra glass mouthpieces, a four-pack of silicone caps, and the Pre-Load & Go Case, a hard-shell case that carries five pre-filled pieces. All three are sold separately.

How to Use the Arizer ArGo

The three buttons keep a session simple. A full session runs like this:

  1. Loading: Dip the chamber end of the glass mouthpiece into ground herbs and twist. Aim for 0.10 to 0.15 g with a light fill.
  2. Inserting: Seat the loaded glass mouthpiece in the oven, then press the rear button to lower the shield and expose the mouthpiece.
  3. Heating: Hold the M and plus buttons until "hi" appears on the display, then set your temperature. The ArGo reaches it in roughly a minute.
  4. Inhaling: Draw with long, slow sips, like drinking a thick milkshake. Fast, hard pulls do not extract any faster.
  5. Stepping up: Raise the temperature in 10°C steps as the flavour fades, and finish the chamber at 220°C.
  6. Finishing: The session timer switches the vape off after 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Empty the chamber while warm, loosen used herbs with the included stirring tool, and pop the shield up before it goes back in a pocket.

Battery and Charging, at Home or Away

The ArGo runs on a removable 18650 battery with 3000 mAh of capacity, good for up to about 90 minutes of use, typically 5 to 9 chambers. When it runs flat, the battery door opens and a charged spare drops straight in.

Charging happens over micro-USB and takes roughly 2.5 to 3.5 hours; the cable and wall adapter are included in the box. Pass-through charging is supported, so the ArGo keeps working while plugged in, even from a power bank.

A spare Eve 30P - 3000 mAh 18650 Battery (sold separately) doubles your time away from a socket, and the Xtar X2 - Battery Charger fills two cells at once, faster than the vape's own port.

Easy Cleaning

A quick habit keeps the ArGo running well: empty the chamber while warm and blow through the glass after each session, so resin never gets a chance to harden.

Every few weeks, soak the glass mouthpieces in isopropyl alcohol and rinse them with hot water; they come out looking new. The oven sits recessed in the body, so a cotton swab held with tweezers reaches it best.

ArGo vs Go SRT

The Arizer Go SRT is the ArGo's direct successor and Arizer's newest pocket portable. It brings USB-C charging, longer battery life, and the Go Shell pod system.

The ArGo answers with a lower price and proven reliability. It has been carried in pockets since 2018, and it shares the same glass mouthpieces, caps, and water pipe adapter with the Go SRT, so nothing you buy for it goes to waste.

If USB-C and the shell system matter most, the Go SRT earns its premium. If you want the same all-glass flavour for less, the ArGo remains the smart way in.

ArGo vs Air Max

The Arizer Air Max is the ArGo's larger counterpart, built around a big 26650 battery for longer runtime per charge. Its kit also includes a water pipe adapter, which the ArGo offers as a separate accessory.

The ArGo is the one that fits a pocket. Its glass mouthpiece retracts fully into a lighter, deck-of-cards body, while the Air Max carries an exposed glass piece better suited to a bag. Inexpensive 18650 spares that swap in moments soften the battery difference.

Home sessions and bags favour the Air Max; pockets and travel favour the ArGo.

Recommended Accessories

Right now we offer a 25% discount on all accessories when you buy any vaporizer here at MagicVaporizers. These are the add-ons we would pick for the ArGo.

Pre-Load & Go Case: Fill five glass pieces at home, cap them, and carry a whole day of sessions in one hard-shell case.

Soft-shell Case: Keeps the vape, charger, spare glass, and batteries organised in one padded case for longer trips.

Glass Mouthpiece with Herb Chamber: Extra glass means more pre-loaded sessions and insurance against a breakage far from home.

Silicone Glass Caps (4-pack): Seal pre-loaded glass at both ends so it travels without spilling or picking up lint.

TightVac MiniVac: An airtight, smell-proof container that keeps ground herbs fresh and ready for filling the next glass piece.

Frosted Glass Adapter with Herb Chamber: Connects the ArGo to any 14 mm water piece for cooler, filtered sessions.

Eve 30P - 3000 mAh 18650 Battery: A charged spare doubles runtime to around 150 minutes; swap it in and keep going.

Xtar X2 - Battery Charger: Charges two batteries at once, faster than the vape's own port, and saves wear on the micro-USB connector.

Screens (6-pack): Six steel screens for extra-fine grinds; the built-in glass screens handle coarse herbs on their own.

Warranty Information

The Arizer ArGo comes with a 2-year warranty on electronics and materials, plus a lifetime warranty on the ceramic heating element; glass pieces and batteries are not covered but are inexpensive to replace. All Arizer ArGo vaporizers we sell here at MagicVaporizers are authentic Arizer products, made in Canada.
