The Mighty+ is one of the most proven portables from Storz & Bickel, the German makers of the famous Volcano. It launched five years ago and still reviews well in 2026. People buy it for one reason above all: every session comes out even and flavourful, with no technique required.

The Mighty+ takes 60 to 90 seconds to heat up. It is also too large for a jeans pocket. That size is part of the deal; it buys battery life, open airflow, and a cooling unit that smaller vapes cannot fit. It suits daily users, shared sessions at home, and long days out when you have a bag with you.

The Mighty+ measures 14 cm x 8 cm x 3 cm and weighs 242 g. It feels solid in the hand and travels well in a jacket pocket, backpack, or handbag.

The body is medical-grade plastic. Ribbed cooling fins run along the sides, giving you grip and shedding heat during long sessions. Built to the same manufacturing standards, this platform also powers the medically certified Mighty Medic.

No case comes in the box. You can add the Mighty+ Case, a smell-proof hard shell with a shaped slot for the vape and pockets for accessories.

The Mighty+ uses Storz & Bickel's patented hybrid heating, which combines conduction and convection. It works like cooking with an oven and a pan at once: the ceramic-coated chamber warms the herbs directly, while each draw pulls heated air through the load.

The result is even extraction with no stirring. The used herbs come out a consistent brown, with no dark patches. You never need to open the chamber mid-session.

Heat-up takes 60 to 90 seconds, and a vibration tells you the set temperature is reached. That buzz means it is ready, so full flavour arrives from the first draw.

The cooling unit sits on top of the vape and cools the vapour on its way to your lips. The mouthpiece swivels out for the session and folds flat afterwards. It mounts on either side of the cooling unit, for left- or right-handed use.

The airflow is set at the factory and runs wide open, with almost no draw resistance. Vapour arrives without any lag, and short sips work as well as long pulls.

At temperatures above 200 °C the vapour can feel sharp in the throat. You can add a water pipe adapter with a built-in bubbler. It runs the vapour through water, so draws come out cooler and smoother.

The Mighty+ heats from 40 °C to 210 °C, and the up and down buttons move it one degree at a time. The LED display shows the set temperature and the actual temperature climbing toward it. The vape also remembers your last setting.

A double click of the power button activates the Booster, which adds 15 °C to your base temperature. A triple click activates the Superbooster, which adds 30 °C. Both fall back to the base setting after 90 seconds.

Lower temperatures around 180 °C preserve lighter compounds and terpenes. Around 190 °C is the sweet spot for most sessions. A final step up to 200 to 210 °C extracts the last of the load.

The ceramic-coated chamber holds approximately 0.25 g of ground herbs. Load it loosely, without packing it down. The hybrid heating is forgiving about grind and fill level.

One reusable aluminium dosing capsule is included in the box. Each capsule holds approximately 0.15 g. Pre-fill several at home, snap them into a magazine (sold separately, holds eight), and swap a fresh one into the chamber in seconds.

Capsules keep residue out of the chamber, so cleaning gets easier the more you use them. The same capsules fit every vaporizer in the Storz & Bickel range.

Heavy users can add the filling kit, which comes with 48 capsules and fills 40 of them in one sitting; the other 8 sit in the included magazine. A capsule caddy carries four filled capsules on a keychain.

Three buttons and a display run the whole session, so the steps stay simple.

1. Loading: Grind your herbs and fill the chamber loosely, or drop in a pre-filled dosing capsule. Twist the cooling unit back on.
2. Heating: Press the power button on the side and set your temperature; 180 °C is a good starting point. After 60 to 90 seconds it vibrates to tell you it is ready.
3. Inhaling: Swivel out the mouthpiece and take slow, steady draws. Short sips work too; the open airflow does the rest.
4. Boosting: When the vapour thins, double click the power button for an extra 15 °C, or triple click for 30 °C. After 90 seconds the temperature drops back to your base setting.
5. Finishing: If you do not press a button or take a draw, the smart timer shuts the vape off after one to two minutes. Empty the chamber while it is still warm and brush it out.

Two built-in 18650 cells give the Mighty+ 6600 mAh in total, enough for 8 to 12 sessions per charge or about 90 minutes of continuous use. For most daily users that means charging once a day or less, much like a phone.

The batteries are sealed inside the body; Storz & Bickel chose this design for UL safety certification. Pass-through charging is supported, so the Mighty+ runs while plugged in.

The box includes a USB-A to USB-C cable but no wall adapter. On a standard USB charger, a full charge takes around two to three hours.

You can add the USB-C Fast Charger (45W), which brings the battery to 80% in about 40 minutes. You will also need a USB-C to USB-C cable, and it comes with neither the vape nor the charger.

After a session, empty the chamber while it is warm and give it a quick brush; residue lifts easily before it cools and sets. Dosing capsules cut this work down further, since most residue stays inside the capsule.

The cooling unit needs a deeper clean every few weeks. It comes apart for a soak in isopropyl alcohol. Rinse it, dry it, and put it back together.

Many owners keep a second cooling unit and rotate: one soaks while the other stays in service. The Wear & Tear Set bundles a full cooling unit with mouthpieces, screens, and tools.

The Venty is Storz & Bickel's newer high-performance portable, sitting above the Mighty+ in the range. It heats in about 20 seconds, against the Mighty+'s 60 to 90 seconds, and runs 10 to 14 sessions per charge against the Mighty+'s 8 to 12. It also has an adjustable airflow dial that goes up to 20 L/min.

The Mighty+ answers with pass-through charging at a lower price: it runs while plugged in, which the Venty cannot do. Its three-button interface needs no app and no extra settings.

If raw speed and airflow tuning matter most, the Venty earns its price; if you want proven simplicity and the option to vape while charging, the Mighty+ makes more sense.

The Solo 3 is Arizer's flagship portable, built around removable all-glass pieces that combine a herb chamber and a mouthpiece. The glass path gives very clean flavour, and the battery runs for more than three hours, roughly double the Mighty+'s continuous runtime.

The Mighty+ counters with stir-free, even extraction every time. Its hybrid heating finishes the whole load uniformly, and the dosing capsules turn reloading into a quick swap.
