Plunger for Dosing Capsules

The plunger is a small hand tool for capping and uncapping Storz & Bickel dosing capsules. A silicone sleeve on the tip grips the thin aluminium lid evenly, so you can lift it off or press it onto a filled capsule without bending the rim.

To close a capsule: press the silicone tip onto a lid lying flat on the table — it grips on contact. Position it over a filled capsule and push down until the lid seats. Press the orange button on top to release the capped capsule.

To open a capsule: press the silicone tip onto the lid while the capsule sits in its magazine or on a flat surface. The sleeve grabs the cap; lift straight up. The even grip prevents the warping that happens when you pry lids off by hand, which matters most after a few heat cycles when the caps fit tighter.

The plunger works on its own for individual capsules, and it is already included in the Dosing Capsule Filling Set for batch loading. This standalone version is mainly useful as a spare or if you bought your capsules separately.
