Ampace JP30 - 3000 mAh 18650 Battery

The Ampace JP30 is a 3000 mAh cell in the standard 18650 size, so it fits any vaporizer that takes an 18650 battery. That gives you about the same runtime per charge as the cells most of those vaporizers ship with.

With a spare, you can swap in a fresh cell and keep vaping while the empty one charges. If you vape a lot, carry two or three spares and battery life stops being a concern.

Charging outside the vaporizer keeps the vape itself free to use. The Xtar X2 - Battery Charger charges two cells at once and its display shows exactly when each one is ready. Keep a charged spare in the charger's second slot and you always have a full cell waiting.

Battery safety

Lithium-ion cells are safe when handled right. Three habits keep them that way:

• Inspect before use - never charge or use a dented cell, or one with a cut or otherwise damaged wrapper or insulating ring.
• Insert the flat negative end first, against the spring terminal. Never force a cell into place.
• Carry spares in a case - never loose in a pocket with keys or coins.
