The Wand by Ispire is a handheld induction heater with two distinct uses. It heats the caps of DynaVap vaporizers without a torch. With the included borosilicate glass cups and bangers, it also heats concentrates for use with a compatible dab rig. Pairing it with a DynaVap is well known in the community, and one of the most popular ways to run one flame-free.
It looks like a stout flashlight and works in the hand rather than on a desk. Instead of torch technique you set a number: for the concentrate cups you choose a temperature, and for DynaVap caps that same setting gives you a repeatable heat-up. No more guessing with a flame.
Induction generates heat inside the metal cap itself rather than on its outer surface. The cap warms evenly all the way around, and there is no flame to heat anything else. A torch creates hot spots and forces you to guess. The Wand gives you anything from 120 °C to 425 °C, shown on a clear digital display.
That precision pays off. You avoid heating too little or too much, you waste less material, and you get a consistent result from session to session. Consistent heat means consistent extraction, and in our testing each load lasts longer.
Press the button five times to turn it on. In automatic mode, a double-click runs a full cycle. The light pulses amber while the cap heats, then holds steady once your set temperature is reached - your signal to inhale. In manual mode, the Wand heats only while you hold the button down.
With a DynaVap, you drop the capped end into the Wand's heating opening and lift it out when you hear the cap click. No butane, no flame indoors, and none of the scorching a torch leaves on cap edges. With a glass cup fitted to a dab rig, the Wand heats the metal inside the cup, so you can take concentrate draws without a DynaVap.
Two 2900 mAh 18650 batteries come in the box and slide in through the base. That matters more on an induction heater than on most vaporizers. Heating coils are hard on batteries, and being able to drop in a fresh pair when they fade is what keeps the Wand usable long-term.
Charging runs over USB-C, and pass-through charging is supported. A USB-C cable is included, but no wall plug. The USB-C Fast Charger (45W) is a good wall charger for the Wand and your other USB-C gear. A spare pair of Ampace JP30 or Eve 30P cells (sold separately) roughly doubles your runtime away from a charger. The Xtar X2 tops up the spares outside the Wand.
The YLL Induction Heater 3.0 is the other one we stock: a desktop heater with adjustable wattage, a timer and a larger coil. Its output of up to 100 watts covers bigger vaporizers such as the Tempest 2.
The Wand is strong in the opposite areas. It is handheld and small enough to fit in a pocket, it heats by set temperature rather than power, and the batteries come in the box. The glass cups also add a concentrate mode the YLL does not have. If you mainly use a DynaVap and want to take your gear with you, the Wand is the natural choice. If you use a Tempest 2 or keep several vaporizers on one desk, the YLL 3.0 is the better fit.
