The seal ring with screen is the small two-part fitting that sits between the Fenix NEO's titanium chamber and the mouthpiece holder. A silicone ring seals the joint, and a stainless steel mesh screen filters fine particles, so loose material stays out of the ceramic cooling path.
Both parts do their work under heat every session. Over time the silicone loses some of its springiness and resin builds up in the mesh. A clean screen keeps the draw open and the taste neutral from the very first inhalation.
One of these comes in the box with the vaporizer, which tells you how routinely it gets swapped. At this price it is easy to keep another in the drawer for the day the old one stops sealing properly.
