The silicone cover is a custom-fit sleeve that wraps the aluminium body of the XLux Roffu. It leaves the screen, the buttons, the USB-C port and the magnetic top section clear, so nothing about the way you use the vape changes.
Aluminium carries heat well, and after two or three back-to-back sessions the body becomes noticeably warm in the hand. Silicone sits between your fingers and that metal, so longer sittings stay comfortable. The soft surface also adds grip on a smooth-sided vaporizer and takes the edge off the knocks that come with pocket and bag carry.
