On the outside, the new PAX vaporizer looks very much like its predecessor, the PAX 2. It has the same elegant but robust anodized aluminium casing, which PAX 2 users loved for the fact that it was sophisticated enough to be used on formal occasions, but still sturdy enough to be thrown into a backpack and taken out and about, even in the great outdoors. The refreshed PAX 3 vape, however, has an updated colour scheme and is available in Black, Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. In addition to the useful LED screen the PAX 3 by PAX Labs has haptic feedback (it vibrates when it’s ready for use).
Of course, it takes far more than just external good looks to make for an optimum vaping experience and the PAX 3 is more than ready to deliver where it matters. Starting at the top, the PAX vaporizer comes with a choice of two mouthpieces, to suit different user preferences. The new concentrates insert will be a huge benefit to the many people who want one vaporizer which can handle both types of aromatherapy blend simply and conveniently as well as effectively. The new PAX 3 vape also comes with a half-pack oven for single-session users, which addresses what was possibly the single, biggest niggle about the PAX 2.
What stays unchanged is the fact that this new PAX vaporizer has its oven right at the base of the unit, which means that the vapour path is longer than usual for portable vaporizers. What this means in practice is that the vapour has time to cool down slightly before it reaches your mouth, which reduces the risk of burning your lips or tongue. Purity of flavour is ensured by the use of a stainless steel vapour path. On the subject of temperature, another major improvement is the fact that heating time in the PAX 3 has literally been slashed to a third of the time required to heat up the PAX 2. The PAX 3 vape is ready to use in a mere 15 seconds. Its impressive battery life allows for about 1.5 hours of total runtime.
The PAX 3 by PAX Labs (Ploom) is perfect for use as a stand-alone vaporizer, but it also features Bluetooth capability, which enables it to be paired with a smartphone, which opens up exciting new possibilities for more enjoyable and convenient vaping sessions. The four pre-set heat paths are: efficiency, flavour, boost and stealth. Efficiency mode is probably the best choice for general use. It keeps increasing the oven temperature throughout the course of the session. Flavour mode aims to optimize smoothness of flavour, which takes priority over the density of the clouds. Boost mode keeps the oven hotter over a longer period and therefore reduces the auto-cooling periods. This is good for quick, intense sessions, where users want the densest vapour. Stealth mode is essentially the exact opposite. It increases cooling time and is good for those who like very light vapour. All of these modes can be customized by the user.
All PAX 3 vaporizers sold by MagicVaporizers are completely authentic and backed by a 10-year warranty.
